I Look Old! I was 26 at This Time – Jason Before his Bosley Hair Transplant

Jason felt he had a genetic predisposition for early hair loss.  His hair loss started around the age of 24 and by the time he was 26 hair was falling out quickly.  Jason chose to permanently restore his hair with Bosley and took the first step of discussing his options with a Bosley counselor.

“I look old!  I was 26 at this time.  I had the horseshoe coming all the way back around here with a little patch of hair in the front was what I had left. My grandpa, everyone said he was short, fat, and bald.  So, it’s safe to say it’s a genetic predisposition.  Started to lose it at a young age, about the age of 24 to 26 was when it completely started to fall out quickly.  I hated it!

I always would try to go to a place where I could wear a hat.  I wore hats all of the time.  She always wanted to go to the clubs or the trendy restaurants, and I always liked to go to a place like an Irish Pub and not have to get dressed up where everyone could see I was balding really badly.

I went and did my research for about six months, kept researching and researching, looked around and finally I decided to go through with it.  I met with one of the consultants for Bosley. I scheduled the procedure within a couple weeks.  You go in in the morning and they set you up and everything.  You’re never under general anesthesia, it’s all local, so you don’t feel a thing.  You hung out for six hours in a chair watching movies.  I was a little tired, but other than that I went back to work two days later.

The night of surgery, the doctor called me just to see how I was doing, and gave me his cell phone number and said if there’s any questions feel free to call, don’t even hesitate.  So, they do really care about you.  They want to make sure everything is going well, and they want to make it the best experience possible for you.

It feels amazing to have hair again.  It’s really coming through.  It’s just completely thick and you would never know I had the procedure. A year after the surgery we’re going to every club out there.  Irish Pubs no more, no more!”
