Alisa Rekow

Dr. Alisa Rekow loves the field of aesthetic medicine because she enjoys assisting patients in making positive changes to their appearance and bringing them closer to what they envision for themselves when they look in the mirror.  Her goal is to ease her patient’s concerns about the appearance of their hair.  It is her sincere honor to help her patients improve the way they look and how they feel about themselves.  

Dr. Rekow received her BA from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and her MD degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.  She continued her training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania where she completed her residency in General Surgery followed by her residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah.  In addition, she completed a Fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, NY and an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship in Miami, FL.  

Dr. Rekow is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a lifetime member of the New York Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Rekow was a member of an aesthetic cosmetic surgery group in Lakewood, WA and for many years she had her own private practice in general plastic surgery in Salt Lake City, UT and then in Seattle, WA. Following her private practice, Dr. Rekow joined Bosley to focus exclusively on the practice of hair restoration.  

Her interests outside of medicine and surgery include gardening, cooking, and baking.
