Paul T. Rose

Dr. Paul Rose is an experienced physician and surgeon who has been performing hair transplantation since 1988. He was drawn to the field of hair restoration by the scientific aspects of the cellular biology of hair. He also enjoys the artistic aspects of hair transplantation, likening the process of recreating someone’s hairline to the fine art of sculpting and painting.

Dr. Rose earned his BA in Biology from S.U.N.Y Buffalo and his MD from S.U.N.Y Downstate Brooklyn. Dr. Rose completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Medical Center and his residency in Dermatology at Temple University Skin and Cancer Hospital. Dr. Rose also trained at the Southern California University for Professional Studies.

In addition to hair transplantation surgery, Dr. Rose also has extensive experience in dermatology and emergency medicine.

Dr. Rose is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). His professional affiliations include leadership positions in the ISHRS, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgery.

Dr. Rose has been awarded numerous prestigious industry awards, including the Golden Follicle Award, Michelangelo Award, Physician of the Year, and a Lifetime Achievement award for contributions to Hair Restoration Surgery and Research. Dr. Rose has also published many articles and research papers on hair restoration and surgery.

In his free time, Dr. Rose enjoys playing tennis and golf. He is an avid skier and also loves to play the guitar.
